ABOUT US...
Owners, Janet and Mark Fisher are not new to the furniture business. Janet has 26 years of experience and prior to opening 4 The Shore Furnishings has developed several Furniture Stores into thriving businesses. Now, Janet wants to go on her own and use her abilities to develop a family based business focusing on integrity and the needs of the growing communities on the Eastern Shore.
Mark, on the other hand, has worked with Janet filling in for deliveries, sales and any thing else needed over the last several years. He is an educator by profession, teaching business & software applications and has developed several applications useful in the Furniture Industry. He has ventured into web design and has helped several small businesses and individuals in developing their networks
Together they bring a fresh dynamic to retail furniture: Janet’s well respected reputation with over a hundred different vendors, and Mark’s people skills from the classroom. Their focus can be described best in the Mission Statement for 4 The Shore Furnishings.

As the store name states, Shore Furnishings are the primary product focus. Casual living rooms, wicker bedrooms, table groups, bedding, lamps, accessories, and outdoor wicker are the emphases.
To be fair to all parties, the following policies are established:
Special orders are not subject to cancellation and require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Once accepted, furniture is not returnable.

IN STORE CREDIT ONLY.
Deliveries: We will do our best to get your delivery to you quickly. If it is possible, we will do a same day delivery, but most deliveries will be made on Saturday or Sunday. There is no charge for local delivery. Long distance deliveries will have a surcharge based on the total miles.
Layaway: Are you building your dream home, adding a new room, or just remodeling? We will be happy to store your purchase until you are ready for pick-up or delivery. There is no storage fee.
Personal Attention: The store opens at 10am and for many customers we are available in the evenings. We stay until the last customer leaves. So call and we will be happy to accommodate your schedule. We generally close at 5pm or when the last customer leaves and on Sundays our hours are from 11am to 4pm. Hours will be posted if needed to be changed.
So call ahead if you would like to shop late!
Janet’s 26 years of experience has given her an enormous amount of decorating exposure.
She has seen many styles come and go and come again. She is always enthusiastic to help in your decorating plans. So bring your floor plan, paint or fabric swatch, and measurements so you can see what we can offer in order to work best for you.
